hi folks ( apologies but re posting now my membership of the forum is completed)
me and family are in the process of emigrating from uk to melbourne and part of the grand plan is to own a nice old ambassador or eldorado 😃 i have the option of either buying in the UK and exporting or holding fire and buying once in Aus i was hoping you guys and girls could give me some advice re values...
over here in UK a very nice eldorado, totally sorted, goes for around £12k ($21,500)
any ideas of aus prices on these bikes? any advice much appreciated justin

thanks for the advice Ive bought a ‘71 Ambassador police here in Uk and will be bringing it with me when we emmigrate later this year😀 Its an absolute stunner and will look even better with Melbourne as its back drop So, next question is, is there a garage that specialises in early European motorcycles anywhere in Melbourne? Or is everyone importing the parts themselves? many thanks (I’ll post a pic when I can see how to do that on this forum) Justin

Hi Justin, there are lots of options for parts here in Australia without having to go OS. Guzzi Spares here in Melbourne, Thunderbikes in Perth possibly has worlds best stock holding for old Guzzi's and some privateers like Teo Lamers who live in country Victoria. You wont have any issues.
