Hello everyone I am considering returning to the fold (owned a 1000 spada a long time ago) . Can anyone tell me if there are inherent problems with the 750 nevada classic . The one Im looking at only has low 20000 kls. I sold my previous Guzzi as I was sick of the problems with the electrics and other matters but it was the best handling bike Ive ever had and the motor never let me down. Also if I did purchase it or any other model I am no mechanic .Is the dealer in Geelong or Melbourne competent to service guzzis or do you guys and gals have somewhere else to go to. Thanks in advance for any responces.
I think that the Nevada Classic was an upgrade along the lines of the Breva 750. We owned one of the latter and never had a problem with it over 80,000kms. Very easy to service myself. Needed to keep an eye on the oil level. I've heard that Peter Stevens won't service bikes over 10 years old, which you might want to check out. I've had good experiences with Eurobrit and Brad the Bike Boy, and others recommend Rob Grant at Guzzi Spares Australia.
I'd suggest that you come along to one of our service days. If you can adjust the tappets and change the oil and filter yourself, you're laughing.

My post above is now obsolete as the Nevada sold quickly. I have now turned my attention to the 850 Roamer. It suits my stature( read short), can anyone tell me anything about this model from any aspect. .
The Moto Guzzi Nevada 750 is a modest cruiser which is a surprisingly competent all-round bike as well as an effective posing tool. It’s one of Guzzi’s older generation of bikes and has had very few updates since 1989 but it doesn’t matter. It’s excellent round town, works over distance with a screen fitted and has a charm the Japanese could never match.
